Writing with a purpose
We started this whole adventure with one defining idea of what success would look like to us. It wasn’t to land a major book deal, nor was it aspiring to reach the status of being a household name. Our goal was to create books that meant something to our readers, and we would know that we had met our goal when our books were on the shelf at the library.
That is why even though this is a small publishing company, and our authors are all independent, each of our books are registered with a LCCN and the front matter pertaining to each book includes information to aid in the cataloging process.
It is our personal belief that libraries, especially public libraries, are one of the few remaining equalizers in our day. Libraries are a foundational tool to empower the community and inspire the potential of an individual. We feel some of our greatest sense of purpose when we are personally supporting and involved with our local libraries.
Visits
While our authors offer programming specifically designed for libraries for a presenter’s fee, story times are always events we like to do for free. Whether part of a summer reading program line-up, a little patron’s story time, or a special author reading simply bring the community together for a good story, we are happy to be a part of the reading program offered at your library.
