It is not often that an author makes her debut after her time here in this world has ended, but we are in a unique position to have access to Donna’s literary master piece, and we eagerly desire to help her to complete her work.
Never one to just let life happen to her, Donna took her limited time fighting cancer to share love and encouragement with those who might follow her in that same journey. Crafting a story with an endearing caterpillar as the lead, Cocke gave voice to the feelings even the youngest of cancer patients might feel.
Although she passed before her book was formally completed, Donna’s words and illustrations left their marks on the hearts and minds of her family. Cocke passed on both her manuscript and her tenacity, and it is with great satisfaction that we present her works to the world.
