There are a couple of things we want to make sure you know from the get go. We are a family-run, small business. We have a responsibility to our customers, and that relationship is very important to us.
However, we are also a family with a responsibility to our children, which means there comes a time when we must close up shop and be parents. We are going to do our very best to strike a balance between these two roles.
One strategy for finding balance in our work and home life is in our approach to shipping. Our policy is that your shipment will be sent out within two business days of your payment being received. In spite of expectations created in a world of Amazon and next-day shipping, business days do not include Saturday or Sunday, nor does it include major holidays.
Seasonally Delayed Shipping
It also means that there will be times during the year when we will not be filling orders at all. You will still be able to place an order, and prior to confirming your purchase you will receive a public service announcement that the processing of your order will be delayed, but the orders will not be shipped out until we “reopen the shop.” We will give advanced notice for seasonally scheduled delays (We’re going to go ahead and tell you they will include, but not be limited to the week leading up to Christmas, Easter, New Years, and the week we are hiking in the Smokies.)
We appreciate your understanding that life is not just about the paycheck, and because of that mutual respect we hope you will feel that our customer service shows you the same respect.

Shipping an Exchange
Free return shipping is not offered at this time for any products. See more about our exchange policy.
If you desire to make an exchange you must submit a request prior to shipping the product back to us. We will coordinate that process with you when we receive your request. You can send your request to [email protected]. Again, please allow a two-day response time before you resubmit your request.
